Tammie Landry Hale (1963-2018) composed the original score for itrw and was an accomplished mezzo-soprano soloist, and pianist as well as a composer, a wife and a mother and grandmother. She was my very dear, decades long friend irl, who could render a french quarter saloon silent with her rendition of jazz, pop or torch songs, or be the center of any cocktail party with her incredible, intelligent humor or piano accompaniment. she was also a featured soloist with the new orleans symphony, and a phenomenal home chef. as a personal tribute, i have posted the recording of her original song for this film, on my youtube channel. follow this link to listen. they each left a special legacy in this life and are greatly missed by those of us who were fortunate to know and love them. -
